Kat Harrison

Kat Harrison is a leading intelligence and policy specialist in emergency management, law enforcement and regulation sectors.

Kat has over 15 years of management and intelligence analysis experience across the Victorian Government and leading statutory entities including Victoria Police and IBAC. Kat is currently a Senior Intelligence Analyst at the Department of Justice and Community Safety where she is driving vital research to advance evidence-based integrity reform across the department.

Her previous work at the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action and Parks Victoria was instrumental in operations targeting illegal timber harvesting and international native wildlife smuggling.

Kat has a Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice and a Master of Policing, Intelligence and Counter Terrorism. She has been a member of AIPIO since 2014 and is currently the AIPIO Secretary. Kat is passionate about promoting and improving professionalism within the intelligence industry.
