Ryan Maxwell
Ryan Maxwell is the Assistant Agent In Charge (ASAC) of the Chicago field office of
the FBI. Mr. Maxwell entered on duty April 6, 2003. After completing New Agents Training at Quantico, SA Maxwell was assigned to the New York Division, where he worked Counterterrorism investigations and intelligence matters as a member of the
Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF). SA Maxwell was a member of the New York Rapid Deployment Team (RDT) where he deployed in support of the 2010 World Cup
Bombings in Kampala, Uganda. In December 2010, SA Maxwell served as Acting Assistant Legal Attaché in London until July 2011. In 2012, SA Maxwell was promoted to
Supervisory Special Agent (SSA) in the Counterterrorism Division and served as a
Detailee to the CIA's Counter Terrorism Center (CTC) until August 2013. SA Maxwell
then returned to New York to work counterterrorism matters as a member of New York's Terrorist Use of the Internet JTTF squad.
